If It Ain't Broke...

The Kingdom of God is not struggling for money or broke, yet many worship artists are. The issue is not about money, but a mindset. Even Jesus had to show that a coin could come from the mouth of a fish when you trust that God will provide.

Years ago, I connected with a mentor that changed my faith level forever. I didn't realize how the way I spoke and behaved kept me broke. Many dance ministers struggle internally because we look at our personal bank accounts to determine if we can afford classes, garments, conferences, and ministry expenses. STOP LOOKING AT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AND GO TO THE TREASURY!

We all have treasures within us. In 2011, my dance team raised over $25,000 for a missions trip to South Africa in only 2.5 months! How? One, the Bible reminds us that we have not because we ask not (James 4:2). So, we asked our supporters to sow financially. Second, we admitted the real skills we already had to create something that would raise the money. Some sold flower pens. Others baked goods and sold them. Some cleaned houses. Everyone participated. When we combined our resources, we saw a MIRACLE manifest! We went to South Africa and people even gave us money there! We were never the same after that.

You are believing God to help improve your knowledge, your leadership, and your ministry development. When you say, "I don't have the money, " or "I can't afford it," that is EXACTLY what you will get. It's time for you to STRETCH and do what the Word says you can!

For the record, in 2013, we took our entire dance team to the Bahamas and raised nearly $40,000 in a few months to get there. Tell me what God cannot do. I'll wait...
